CALL FOR ENTRIES: The Robeson Art Guild (RAG) is accepting entries for the Members Holiday Choice Exhibition online beginning October 7th. Intake will be on Tuesday, November 18th, at the Robeson Art Guild House (109 W 9th St., Lumberton), from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The final exhibition of the year involves choice – in several ways! First, the theme for the Members Holiday Choice Exhibition is each Member Artist’s personal selection, their choice of their own artwork to share with visitors over the Holiday Season. Sandy Stratil will be the judge, awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placements and honorable mentions. Second, there will be the People’s Choice Award for the piece our visitors select when they come in and vote for their favorite! Third, but definitely not least, the Members’ Holiday Marketplace opens the same day, and visitors will also have the chance to vote for their choice for the People’s Choice Booth Award.
So, Everyone, make plans to stop by, have a look at the artwork on display and for sale and vote for your favorites! The Exhibition opens December 4th with a Thanksgiving reception at the Guild House. Join us at 6:30 pm to celebrate the season with members and supporters of our local artists.
The Members’ Holiday Marketplace opens the same day, so there will be opportunities galore for finding unique Christmas gifts.
The Members Holiday Choice Exhibition awards will be presented at the Opening Reception on November 25th.
The People’s Choice Awards will be awarded ay the Quarterly Members Meeting on December 18th. Mark the date on your calendars. We will meet at the Guild House to share good news, present awards, and toast the Holidays and the coming New Year!

- Exhibit Ends: Thursday, December 18, 2025
- Art Removal: Art must remain on exhibit through the run of the Exhibition. The date for art removal is Thursday, December 18 after the Quarterly Members Meeting at RAG (109 W 9th St., Lumberton), or by appointment in January 2026.

FEES: The online entry fee for members is $10 per piece – non-members are not eligible for this exhibition. All sales will require a 20% commission to the Guild. Fees are subject to change at any time, without notice, at the sole discretion of the Robeson Art Guild.
SUBMISSION & REQUIREMENTS: Artists may submit up to three (3) entries for the Members Holiday Choice Exhibition.

- Artists are encouraged to enter their pieces online on the Robeson Art Guild website. Entry forms are available online now. The artworks must be delivered to the Robeson Art Guild House, 109 W. 9th Street, Lumberton, NC 28359, on Tuesday, November 19.

Entry forms will be available online from August 26 thru September 16, the date on which the physical artworks must be delivered to the Robeson Art Guild House, 109 W. 9th Street, Lumberton, NC 28359. - Eligibility for and award of any special award(s) are at the sole discretion of the Robeson Art Guild. Examples include, but are not limited to People’s Choice, special subject, and purchase awards.
- Artists’ photographs of their works are encouraged. Photographs may be uploaded with an online entry or submitted by email. Please provide appropriate credit statements for each photograph.
- Artists are encouraged to provide an artist statement for each piece.
- Work may not weigh more than 40 lbs. nor be more than 5 feet in any direction.
- Each 2-dimensional work must have secure hanging devices to hang safely.
- Each 3-dimensional work must have a safe display device provided by the artist.
- Entries must be original, created within the past 2 years, and not previously entered into a Robeson Art Guild juried exhibition.
- All media, including fiber art, photography, photo montage and collage, are welcome.
- ART REMOVAL: Please note that all art must be removed when the exhibition closes. If you are unable to pick up your artwork during the scheduled time, contact us to make alternate arrangements. Artwork which is not picked up and for which no alternate arrangement has have been made may be subject to additional fees and/or become the property of the Robeson Art Guild, Inc.
LIABILITY: All reasonable care will be given in the handling and display of the art accepted for exhibition and/or sale. The Robeson Art Guild, staff, sponsors, and/or volunteers assume no responsibility for loss of or damage to artwork.
RIGHTS & CONDITIONS: All art submissions are to be made at the Robeson Art Guild House at 109 West 9th Street, Lumberton, NC 28358, unless otherwise directed. The Robeson Art Guild at its sole discretion will select and transport pieces selected for display/exhibition at other location(s), if any. By entry of the artwork in an exhibition or for other display the artist grants the Robeson Art Guild permission to transport pieces selected for display/exhibition at other location(s), if any. The artist grants the Robeson Art Guild permission to transport and display any art and to photograph and reproduce any art for publicity and educational purposes. The Robeson Art Guild reserves the right to refuse, remove or reject any art, for any reason.
